The Voices of the Collective

International Womxn’s Day is not a solution, it is a call to action. It is a day when people listen to voices that are so often lost. I know the tone today will be statistic driven, we need to spotlight the gaps in superannuation, the imbalance in companies’ parental leave policies, and the fact that more womxn in Australia have postgraduate degrees than men which are not reflected in the boardroom. Yes, these are essential conversations and I will repost and respond to these today and beyond.

But, because The Georgie Collective is all about womxn all year round - we breathe it, we speak it from our chest and it’s our motivation behind everything we do for International Womxn's Day we wanted to celebrate the voices and experiences of womxn. Womxn you know, womxn you don’t, but womxn that are all worth celebrating. I’ve curated a unique activation where womxn within our community have written love letters to themselves, exploring what womxnhood means to them.

Please, read, share and celebrate the unique experience of womxnhood.
